Tein NA..Shobo 07-07-2001, 04:12 PM For owners of Tein NA...Is it better than The GC/Koni suspension...Im deciding for the both..i Know its 16 way adjustable for the Tein... and Wats the price difference for the both plus shippin...im scared for regrets...Im out.:bandit: b-b00gie 07-07-2001, 07:16 PM for a P11 right? well i was one of the first few (maybe second, Henry had the first set) to own the GC/Koni setup. It was a little too stiff for all the potholes around here.. so I sold it off about two weeks ago. I just installed my Teins today, actually just washed all the grease from my hands!! I havent driven them much yet, only around a few blocks (the Hot Import Nights show started and I need to get there!!) Anyway, the Teins are much more forgiving than the Koni's were, at least on bumps and potholes. Havent done much cornering yet. It seems to ride like stock, just lower. If you are mainly a street (not autocross) driver, I'd go w/ Tein. They cost about the same as the GC/Koni setup. The Tein's are adjustable in stiffness while mounted, as the Koni you must select the stiffness first. Even on the softest setting the Koni is still pretty stiff and you will absorb the bumps in the road up through your spine. The Teins also have more suspension travel which is a definate plus. kenchan 07-08-2001, 08:00 AM go with shocks and coils that were made for each other. go with the TEIN's. I can't stand having to have to set the stiffness of damping before even be able to take it out to the streets. dont even make any sense. NA's ride close to stock and is very forgiving...until you set it up to the stiffsettings. also, just leave it at the 2nd from the lowest ride height. works for me and lookin/riding goooood!!! :D Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
