my friend has a teg. gsr but he doesn't know what year it is. how would i go about finding out the year of it, where would i look.

i kinda need more information than that, where is it, and how will it tell me what year it is.

The VIN can be found on the dash or on the drivers side door panel ... The tenth number can tell you what year it is ...or you can type the VIN into carfax.com and get the year make and model.

Or look on the front of the engine block, there will be a few circles on it (should be directly above the exhaust manifold). It will look like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...engineyear.jpg (this one is a '96 as you can see from the 9|6)
