after buying my car new at the dealer 6 years ago I am finally boosted

I had it dyno'd but do not have a pic of the paper yet but it ran
167hp / 127tq and the air to fuel ratio was perfect

It is a 99' EX Automatic with the Edelbrock kit and a cheap OBX Type R cat-back.

Swap the pistons and up the boost! The kit looks nicely installed. Take it to the track, lets see some times. :smokin:

that torque is way low. i suggest a tranny swap. you'll see alot more power with the manual tranny

The torque will not change on the dyno with another tranny. The dyno converts it to a 1:1 ratio so no matter what gear ratio you have it will not affect it. ;)

so, how are you manageing air/fuel mixtures, and what are you using to as a logging device?

check out the edelbrock kit. I believe they just use a piggyback that has rich maps.

14.4 @ 97.4 is almost as fast as my 89' turbo charged Honda Prelude.

I ran a 12.96 sec in the 1000ft and a 10.somthin sec in the 1/8mi, that was with a bad reaction time too. Which would equate to roughly a 15.00 - 15.50 sec 1/4mi, I think.

So with some lightening (like taking the sub box and amp rack out), little mods, and uping the boost would put me well into 14's.
Any other ideas as to what additional mods and lightening I can do to get the times down?
