Check it out!NOSAJ 04-01-2005, 06:12 PM after buying my car new at the dealer 6 years ago I am finally boosted I had it dyno'd but do not have a pic of the paper yet but it ran 167hp / 127tq and the air to fuel ratio was perfect It is a 99' EX Automatic with the Edelbrock kit and a cheap OBX Type R cat-back. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/9867331Mar05_007.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/9867329Mar05_143.JPG Well let me here it! What do ya'll think? SiGNAL748 04-01-2005, 06:21 PM Swap the pistons and up the boost! The kit looks nicely installed. Take it to the track, lets see some times. :smokin: lkailburn 04-01-2005, 07:43 PM that torque is way low. i suggest a tranny swap. you'll see alot more power with the manual tranny paint that valve cover and your engine bay will look bitchin congrats on the turbo tho whtteg 04-01-2005, 10:23 PM that torque is way low. i suggest a tranny swap. you'll see alot more power with the manual tranny paint that valve cover and your engine bay will look bitchin congrats on the turbo tho The torque will not change on the dyno with another tranny. The dyno converts it to a 1:1 ratio so no matter what gear ratio you have it will not affect it. ;) lkailburn 04-02-2005, 02:06 AM hmmm :scratches: scottsee 04-02-2005, 04:50 PM so, how are you manageing air/fuel mixtures, and what are you using to as a logging device? It has 600 horses at the rear, and runs a quarter mile in 10.80  ...................my mom! i get a kick out of that every time i read it. NOSAJ 04-04-2005, 08:34 PM  ...................my mom! i get a kick out of that every time i read it. his mom has a smokin ass! What is chevy type II? Who the fuck is joe smokin and who the fuck cares what joe blow has! But thanks for answering the 1/4mi time, skinner. I ran a 12.96 sec in the 1000ft and a 10.somthin sec in the 1/8mi, that was with a bad reaction time too. Which would equate to roughly a 15.00 - 15.50 sec 1/4mi, I think. So with some lightening (like taking the sub box and amp rack out), little mods, and uping the boost would put me well into 14's. Any other ideas as to what additional mods and lightening I can do to get the times down?
