What about an HD hood?
I'm just curious what some of you guys think about putting an HD hood on a 1500 light duty. I own a regular cab '02 sportside and think it might look pretty sick along with the other million things I want to do with it.

Re: What about an HD hood?
It really looks sweet....The hd hoods fit perfectly on the 1500's so there are no problems.

Re: What about an HD hood?
Ever seen an HD cowl induction hood that still maintains the elevated front end like the OEM hoods?

Re: What about an HD hood?
So, are the HD hood just "peaked" more to make them look "tougher," or do they actually need the extra clearance for something?

Re: What about an HD hood?
I think the HD hoods are peaked something like an extra 1/2" for clearance reasons.
