my CD player suddenly quit working...when I insert a CD it keeps it for a few seconds then spits it back out. Any ideas on what to check?

Hows the weather where you are, this is the first winter I have owned my truck (97 Limited 82,000) and when the weather was getting cold It would eject the cd. I have the factory single cd tape deck in my runner. I have had no problems at all except when it was very cold. Just a thought, hope this helps.

You both might wanna try a cd cleaner from best buy or something similar. I had an after market cd changer that would do that, and they suggested cleaning it. I never tried it though, cause I just bought a new deck hehe.
