'91 S-10 Body panals?Namtraf 03-30-2005, 09:24 PM Where can I get some cheap body panals for my '91? It has one rusted cab corner, rusted rocker panals, and a rusted quarter panal. For the dude on the phone: I can't sell my truck off this forum. If you would please give me your e-mail I can deal that way. xtrememeasures10 03-30-2005, 09:56 PM ebay. movin2stereo 03-30-2005, 09:59 PM You'll have to look around your area for these, like a autobody outlet or something to that effect.Where I live we deal with Keystone. They sell all kind of aftermarket replacement panels and patch panels. Namtraf 03-30-2005, 10:46 PM I don't have a Keystone near me. Ebay is getting so corrupt! There are so many scams on there now. OverBoardProject 03-31-2005, 12:09 AM Even just talk to Napa. OverBoardProject 03-31-2005, 12:11 AM you can always send that guy a private message. dugie6551 03-31-2005, 09:07 AM Junkyard .... For new panels, check out "LMC Truck" on the net and request a catalogue. They have every "original" thing you could possibly want for your truck; at reasonable prices. My recommendation is to get new panels as opposed to used ones. You will spend less time with new ones then fixing the old ones. Namtraf 03-31-2005, 10:38 AM I tried making my own and "kind of" fixed one corner, but you almost have to be a master in order to do it properly. movin2stereo 03-31-2005, 06:39 PM Junkyard .... I agree, get new repair panels.Getting used panels will be more work and if they are rusted, well your wasting your time.Even though believe it or not ,insurance companies have us put used panels on. They do this pratice where I live to, and expect the bodyshop to put a lifetime warantey on the repair. I can't say that I balame both the bodyshops and customers from getting frusterated with rust problems. The insurance company actually told a bodyshop to use filler to repair a bent and dented motorcycle frame after I got T-Boned. I had to fight them just to get them to write the bike off knowing that it could never be safe again. And how could they expect any bodyshop stand behind an un-safe vehicle that they were told to mickeymouse together dmbrisket 51 04-01-2005, 01:49 AM ^^i know americans will sue for anything now a days, but reguardless that is a lawsuit waiting to happen, someones going to get killed with the ins. company doing shit like that Namtraf 04-01-2005, 11:33 AM Thanks for the help.
