i need some help...

I've never asked anything in the Tracker forum yet...I own a 97 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS-T. My mom has a 2000 Tracker. My dad bought her a new set of rotors and pads. I started to change them tonight. The problem is - I can't get the damn wheels off! I've never had a problem like this on any other car. I took all the lug nuts off, wouldn't budge...So I took the center cap off and that revealed 6 more bolts (i believe there were 6)...So I took those off, and the damn thing still won't come off! I tried kicking it, beating it and nothing. How do these things come off?

First, there are only 5 lug nuts. Pull those 5 lugs and the wheel should come right off. The only thing holding it on are the lugs. Is she running OEM rims or aftermarket? I supposed it's possible that someone put different wheels on with a wheel adapter, but doesn't make sense.

If it's not raining tomorrow and i'm not too sore from my root canal I'll try and get some pics for ya.. I need to flip my rotors anyway (got the left and right reversed [yay x-drilled/slotted rotors])

I'll also include pics of the wonderfully easy to change pads

they're just OEM wheels....i took the lugs off and like i said that wheel wouldn't come off no matter how hard i kicked it or beat it.

spray a bunch of wd 40 or something on it. my brake rotors were stuck and i let them soak with wd40 for about an hour then they came off.
