my tundra makes a click noise

I got a 2002 xtracab tundra v8, and when I bakc up and go forward, makes a noise like there is a loose bolt or nut in the back of the truck, went to the diler and the writer man said , is the abs brake computer, that re-adjust every time that a take off, but I can not hear this noise all the time, please any body helpy and tellme, if this es true.

I have the same vehicle.It does the same thing. Yes it is an ABS check.Might explain this in owners manual.Also the front brake pads might make a rattle,because they are loose. All this is normal.

I have a 2000 Tundra that had the same problem. Mine was/is the hub caps. The attachment feature could be improved. One finally fell off and I got 2 new ones. The replacement units do not have as deep a cup as the stock ones so there is less stress on the hub cap latch. Two new hub caps on the drivers side and the clicking problem stopped (at least on the drivers side)

Same with my 2000. Loose center covers on the wheels rattled. A dab of clear silicone behind the cover then let it sit for a few hours to set quieted them down. Just don't get the silicone on the visible part of the wheel, it may corrode.
