food/drink forum

I think we need a food/drink forum in the off topic section. A place where people can drop in their favorite recipe's or opinions on different foods/drinks. What do ya think?

Re: food/drink forum

I like the idea. I had thought of the idea of a forum for the posting of recipes before, as I'm sure there are a lot of auto enthusiasts who like to cook as well. I just didn't know how good of a reception the idea would generate. This forum could also be used to recommend certain restaurants, or "local joints" to eat and/or drink in your area that would be of interest to other members visiting your locale on vacation, or for an auto related event.

I agree. I love cooking, and I feel that the worldwide community that AF has would be a great source to try new things from other countries and continents. broadening our horizens if you will.

Re: food/drink forum

Link me to all of the threads about food/drink in the last week, or month if your bored.

I doubt there will be enough to warrant an entire forum dedicated to them. And the last thing we need is another deserted section, IMO.

really no place to post them so they don't get posted in my opinion. just look at all the threads about your fav drink, fav soda, threads about new sodas hitting the market etc. or your favorite beer etc from off topic. I know i've personally posted in a few where people have asked question on beer making.

honestly i've made a few things in the past few months that I thought were great and I would post up in an appropriate forum for others to try if we had such a place to put it. And I would also love if some people from other countries posted some recipes to try I think that would be great.

I think posting them in COT will be just fine.
