Unhappy 96 Tracker code?????

Hello All,
I have a Tracker issue Im hoping someone may have some knowledge of. The check engine light is on. The code that i recieved is P740. Anyone know what that means?????

PS.. Its a 96 Tracker 4x4, 2dr conv. 1.6L, auto

i had a check engine light on once, i stoped by the dealer and it turned out i put a fuse in the wrong spot so it acctivated the diognostic thing and the code that flashed once, then waited then twice. repeating, turns out 1 then 2 or 12 ment every thing is ok i dont know if i helped. i felt like an idiot when i was told i just put a fuse in the wrong spot.also you could be able to swing by any chev dealer and the shop forman would be able to tell you what the code means
