well i ended up finding the plug wire caps on the dizzy side were arching, so i figured that was the prob, NOPE.... so i dropped new plugs in this morning, NOPE. so i said fuckit and took the cap right off and there's a crack in the middle of it that's barely visible.... but that's what it was.

I have said I dont how many times on forums the early B16a caps and rotors are crap, and very prone to cracking.

In fact they are so bad Honda discontinued them, and now sell the later B16a cap and rotor as a replacment. the only thing you have to do is change the grub screw from the rotors over. and make sure you use the new rotor and cap. the old rotor does not work with the new cap.
