THE CAR IS IN ARIZONA. AND IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS!


The car is a 1981 280ZX 2+2. It has 208,000 miles on it. The engine runs good but smokes a little. The engine still runs very strong. New turbo oil pump has been installed. Transmission works well but needs syncro work. New clutch comes with car not installed. Trac-Loc rear pumpkin and the CV half shafts are in great condition. It has brand new brakes, new rotors, new brake lines, and all four new tires. The T-tops are in perfect condition. The wiring is in perfect condition and has not been tampered with. When I had it aligned, there were no problems with the suspension what so ever (which is pretty impressive for this old of a car and it being a full suspension car)!

The work that needs to be done include: paint (car was repainted before I bought it and the once green paint is now oxidized), small rear fender dings (either need to be pulled or re-bondoed), does not have rear hatch glass or left quarter glass (car comes with left quarter glass for a coupe), and the interior is what to be expected on this older vehicle but can be easily be restored. Body rust is very minimal but the worst spots are on the kick panels of the doors (can be repaired easily without having to replace).

This car would make a great project car if the time could be put into it. I originally bought the car to restore it and make a 350 conversion out of it. I unfortunately had to end up using it as a daily driver. I drove it to Phoenix about three times a week, no problems, for around eight months until I got a new vehicle. I bought the car in Benson for $1000. I will let it go for $600 because I want to see it go to a home for someone to restore it properly.

1988 300zx turbo 5spd. 3" mandrel exhaust, filter, afco rad, e-fan, poly engine mounts, mbc at 8.5 psi, turboxs rfl-h bov, gutted plenum, etc.

blown turbo, under construction.. gt35 coming.
