Taillights....who has aftermarket ones? Looking for something newMr. Northface 03-24-2005, 10:22 PM Hey all......I was lQQking at a Buick Rainier today & the taillights look to be the same outline as the TB's. Nice, but not exactly what I am looking for....but still a possiblilty just to be different & if I can get them for dirt cheap. I have found a bunch of sites with the new L.E.D taillights, but I can't find anything about how they are holding up or if the warranty is any good. I take my TB through the power spray car washes & that can be murder on taillight seals. Cool L.E.D's though....especially in smoked. Has anyone found anything like this? Red on top for the stops...... Amber in the middle for the turn signals........ Clear on the bottom for the reverse........ That is what I am looking for, but haven't been able to find. I like the look of the Envoys but there shape will not fit ours & neither will the Oldsmobiles...... Anyone come across what I am looking for or any others that are trick? If so, please post links & prices. Blazin04 03-25-2005, 01:38 AM I haven't seen any that I like, only Altezza's and I'm not into those at all. I'd like to see some dark smoked one's that are slightly different that what we got now. SHOWDOWN 03-25-2005, 06:19 AM I haven't seen any that I like, only Altezza's and I'm not into those at all. BlulytesTB 03-29-2005, 08:34 AM Check these out... Japanese Specs for the Trailblazer... Apparently their laws prohibit red turn signals... not very attractive, but different. http://www.paw.hi-ho.ne.jp/trailblazer/picture/modi/UStail/remove.jpg Also check out the fun stuff that they do over there! http://www.starcraft.mitsui.co.jp/trailblazer/index.html Mr. Northface 03-29-2005, 09:01 AM Nice! Thank you for the post....I will check them out. Not as attractive as I would like....but I preferan amber turn signal. Mr. Northface 03-30-2005, 09:59 PM I just tried the site you listed & man.....sure wish I could read it!:lol2: BlulytesTB 03-31-2005, 09:22 AM I just tried the site you listed & man.....sure wish I could read it!:lol2: I know... hard to believe that they do all these fun things to TB's there and sell them like that. We need a "pimp shop" LTZ2FLIP4 03-31-2005, 10:37 AM Ill check with a buddy of mine, he gets Toyota Cavalier parts all the time. Maybe he can get some of the Japanese TB lenses. BlulytesTB 03-31-2005, 10:57 AM 46k+ for the fully loaded LTZ with all the enhancements... alittle steep... ginzy 04-26-2005, 10:34 AM I luv those LED taliligts. Have already ordered them and waiting to see on my truck. I guess they are new and very very rare to be seen especially on TB's. BlulytesTB 04-28-2005, 03:30 PM http://chevytruckworld.tenmagazines.com/gallery/swisstrailblazer/148308.jpg Here are the pics from someone from Switzerland... why do they make such unattractive parts? http://chevytruckworld.tenmagazines.com/gallery/swisstrailblazer/148303.jpg Side shot... you know i never would have bought this. ScarabEpic22 04-28-2005, 11:06 PM is there a red backup light on the left side (from rear) and a clear on the right? I have never seen this before. Never knew it had been done, either. BlulytesTB 04-29-2005, 08:39 AM Its a rear fog light. You might have seen them on BMW's, Audi's, MB's, VW's. Alot of times manufacturers have a blank reflector in the US, or none at all... however in europe they have a high intesity bulb in there for being able to see the car in front of you. In the US... some people use these as racing lights. You might have seen a porsche or two with another red light underneath the bumper? I know in NY (Long Island) if someone in front of you starts flashing their rear red light... they want to race! Mr. Northface 05-26-2005, 10:40 PM By sheer luck I found at least (1) light.....looks better than the one one this thread, but the guy is claiming that it's an OEM light.......... is it?????? I haven't seen this light before: Item number: 7976654234 I e-mailed him to see if he has the drivers side as well....we'll see what he says. If these are the new taillights..........then this is exactly what I have been looking for! OR, is this guy wrong & this is a light for a GMC Envoy? Can someone shed some light on this for me? Kinda looks like a GMC light......?
