I'm looking for the alarm ECU to program a 2nd remote. I took a look under the driver and passenger seats with a light and didn't see anything box shaped. So i took a look under the driverside dash and inside either kick panel. Still no luck.

I didn't pull the driver's seat out to look for it. Is it so small that I wouldn't see it just by bending down and inspecting under the seat?

I have a 98 and it's under my driver's seat. It's a small black plastic box about twice the size of a pack of smokes.

BTW I did find the ECU under the driver's seat. I accessed it through a slit in the carpet without removing the seat. And easily programmed using the instructions in the manual and posted in other mesgs in these forums. Thanks again for all who looked and who contribute here.

Hey I'm looking for my ECU on my 98 camry... I looked under my driver's seat and through the slit in the carpet. Neither places could I see anything that looked like the ECU. please help!!
