2007 Tahoe - New Body Style
Check it out!
Chevrolet's new Tahoe is due as a 2007 model, but thanks to quick eyes - and cameras - TCC has it here.
Not much is known about the major overall features of the GMT800 SUVs (which, with the revamped models, will be known as the GMT900 platform), but we are expecting a hybrid version to be eventually added to the lineup.
Watch for the new Tahoe to go on sale in the fall of 2006.

Re: 2007 Tahoe - New Body Style
Has anyone seen the new 2007 Tahoe in person and if so what do you think?
I saw one on Friday, just wanted to see the dash because I have heard that the Silverado will have the same dash. I do not know if we should wait for the new Silverado or get the F-150.

I received a brochure from them with a $1500 coupon towards a 2007 last week, pretty nice!

Re: 2007 Tahoe - New Body Style
My wife works at a local chevy dealer and they have had one for almost 2 weeks now, could just put it on the show room floor yesterday, very nice, got to look at it the first day in, even under side. Should be nice.

I got the same brochure and coupon, and am putting it to good use.
My '07 is being delivered this morning. Trading in the '04.
I've read all the reviews on this truck, and everything said about it has been positive. I'll give you all my own appraisel of it in a few days.

I've got an "in" with a dealership in California. The 2007 cost me about $4,000 under sticker. Add to that the $1,500 coupon, and I saved 5.5 grand.
There's 3 cost levels for new cars. MSRP. Dealer Invoice. And Wholesale. Mine was right about what wholesale is.
Unfortunately, no rebates on these, yet. Probably won't be for a long while. 2006 has about a $6,000 rebate, so unless someone has their heart set on the new style, now's the time to snatch up an '06, or even a new in-stock '05.
I got my '04 through the same contact in July '04. Paid $27.5 on a 40 g truck, with discounts and rebates. With 14,500 miles, I just broke even on the trade for the '07. ($23,500) Looking in Blue Book, I could have gotten more than I paid originally for the '04 with a private sale, but didn't want to hassle with it, and take the chance that the '07 with the options I wanted would be gone. (They are going fast)

Re: 2007 Tahoe - New Body Style
Got the truck this morning. Haven't driven it a whole lot, but from what I've seen, so far, it seems to be a little "peppier" than the '04. More responsive steering. Ride's less harsh. Beautiful dash and interior set up.
It has the selective cylinder engine, so when coasting or cruising at speed, it changes from 8 to 4 cylinder operation, and kicks back up to 8 cyls when needed. The change isn't noticible. Cruising on 8 cyls=21 MPG. Cruising on 4=38 MPG.
Here she be.

Re: 2007 Tahoe - New Body Style
My dad just picked up a black 2007 Tahoe LTZ for my mom! Let me tell you this is one slick truck! Chevy made no mistakes this time around as far as I can tell. We know the owners of a local dealer, paid about 7k under MSRP. I'll get some pics as soon as I can!

Re: 2007 Tahoe - New Body Style
At $5500 under sticker (MSRP) if you go to KBB.com or edmunds.com you should be able to get pretty close. You can also get a pretty decent number for invoice there.
