looking at 97 GTP w/160,000

I will be looking at a 97 grand prix gtp with 160k miles in a few days. How reliable are these cars once they get well over 100k? It seems that everything is original - transmission, engine, supercharger. I won't buy it if I am going to have to dump a lot of money into it. I am only considering it because he really wants to sell it and the price is right. Or should I spend $5-6K and find something with considerably less miles on it?

U may consider buying it if it's cheap enough and leave extra money on the side for a tranny rebuild.
