traction control

looking for a little help, i have a 2002 tb 2wd. the traction control will not turn off. not with the button, not by shifting into 1st, nothing. any suggestions before i take it and have it hooked up to the computer? thanks.

Silly question....the "OFF" bulb in my TB went out and the switch had to be replaced. It was turning off, it just wasn't showing it. When you start the vehicle, when it does the initial "light test" do all the lights on the switch light up, or is one blown?? Easy check....hope it helps!!

no thats not a silly question, i was actually just outside driving in the rain(carefully of course) spinning the tires then pushing the button. the TAS appears to be turning on and off. but the light is not working. do you remember how much the switch was? thanks

Hey good to hear you figured it out....sorry, but it was under warranty when it went out, so I really have no idea how much it was. It shouldn't be too bad though, it is only a switch, but who knows!! Good Luck!
