Introduction

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jon, I'm from san Jose, CA and I just got a Black 2004 Trailblazer EXT in January. Been looking for a good site to talk about Trailblazers and this looks like one of the better ones. Right now she is stock but I'm looking at some small upgrades first before I start spending more for the bigger ticket upgrades. So what has everyone done to theirs?

1. Tinted Front Windows - 20%
2. Debadged rear tailgate
3. Molded Mudflaps - They are worth it
4. Go Rhino Rear Hitch Step
5. Sylvania SilverStars
6. WeatherTech Vent Shades (smoked)
7. Custom Emergency Lighting Package (6 strobes, 6 LED, Taillight Flasher)
8. K&N Filter
9. Removal of side moldings (not done yet, waiting for warmer weather)

Around where I am in Philadelphia, they use alot of rock & salt in the winters... and they do alot of tar sealing the rest of the year. I have found over the years that the flaps prevent tar and other things from getting on the lower portions of the paint at the drivers door and rear quarterpanel. It has saved me from line paint getting on my truck... just in the wheel well. As for molded vs. flat... I just think they look better.

Thanks Guys for the warm welcome!

LTZ2FLIP4 - mine's black too! I'm thinking of getting some black 20's for mine for the summer and put the stockers back on for the winter since I'll be taking her to the snow and using the 4 wheel drive more often. I'll have to talk to you more about what you've done blacking out yours!

Jon
