wireing harness for trailer lights

Putting on a trailer hitch. Anyone know how to hook up the wireing harness? Someone told me that i can just plug it in, in the trunk somewhere. I looked and think he's full of sh*t. Any advice would be helpfull. Thanks

Charlie.

Yep, believe it or not they actually sell them. You can tow up to like 1000 lbs with an automatic, they don't recommend towing with a 5 speed. Places online probably sell a plug and play wiring harness that does indeed just plug in. Thats what I used on my father's Dodge Ram.
