I just had a engine rebuilt in a "99 Sunfire with 2.4L. Now the engine shakes like craze. I had the engine mounts replaced when the rebuilt engine was put back in, so I know its not them. Please help!

Re: '99 Sunfire Engine Shakes

Could be caused by a couple things. Low grade/quality fuel with cause detonation which will cause knock. a ignition issue or clogged injectors could also cause it to shake. Good Luck,

John

is it like shaking like.... rough idle shaking or is it like when you give it gas it kinda jumps back? if its a rought idle it could be your gas, it could also be a clogged fuel filter, or dirty injectors, anything in your fuel system really, and if it is not, i would check your mounts
