trailer hitch reciever for escort?

Im interested in getting one for my car but dont know what class I can get. anyone know what the towing specs are for this car? Also what class I can get. It seems a class a but I havent a clue.

My old tempo can only tow 1000 lbs which is 1/2 the weight that a class 1 hitch is rated at.

I would imagine that your escort is the same, so just get a class 1 hitch. There should be custom hitches available which should bolt on with no holes drilled.

Check out the wrecker first they might have that hitch for dirt cheap

just bought a duratight, the towing capicity on my 95 lx sedan is 1000 lbs. mine is the same car as the 95 tracer.

Just a warning. Ford didn't use the best springs in their cars.

When your towing a trailer try to keep the weight as close to the middle as possible. And your trunk empty
