well this happen along time ago but the door to the gas tank is broke off and i was wondering if i could put it back on? and how to go about doing it. IT LOOKS SO BAD
ITs one that you pull the lever and it opens up.
(i don't know what its called)

Depending on how it broke off really determines if you can easily put another one back on. The door is only held by two hex head machine screws. If it is rusted out, you have a bigger problem. If you just broke the door off, get another one from the scrap yard.

its rusted alittle, but it doesn't break into peices
think i could weld it on or something?
oh i didn't break it off a (new) girl at the gas station did.

dont weld next to the gas tank unless you would like to blow yourself up along with your car...which i guess the car wouldnt be of any use to you if u blew up

but i mean TAKE OFF the parts then weld.

So did it break at the hinges above the mount plate? If so, simple replace, new door assembly, two screws, but pay attention to the cable release, which is behind the fenderwall.
