323i Air pump And valveLeonard05 03-15-2005, 02:38 AM This is the prob, my engine light keeps coming on and I keep resetting it with, one of those high dollor computer programs " What a waste of money" for a bemmer! Unless you have a program for bemmer it dos'nt get you far. Ok I took it to the dealer and for free they hooked it up to the comp. and this is what it said " (256) F6 Flow rate, sec. -air system, too low, bank 1 (OBD11:P1423; EU111: P0410) Secondary air throughput too low, bank 1 ." Now I know why my light is on, The blower ($230)or valve ($100) The blower puts air throu the exaust during warm up, thay said. The ? is how do i know which of the two is the real problem. or I can pay A guy $ 100 to tell me " yeah-right" oops I almost forgot it is a 1999 323i with 124000 miles. " I hate that stupid light " Lenny from Texas "Ye Ha" (cow-boy who drives a bemmer) Skycity_BMW 03-15-2005, 09:32 AM Hey Leonard, First off . . it's Bimmer . . . . and I would say find an independent mechcanic to work on your car. the stealer will rape you on labor charges alone. I found one in my Bimmer Magazine . . it's in Houston . . Thats why they are replaced together. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
