I have a 3.1 v6 is the clutch replaceable on the compressor or do i need to change comp. My local service shop said it would be $900 to fix it.

Bigdad6714, I'm having a problem with my compressor clutch also. Someome has told me that the clutch assembly is replaceable but I have not checked into this yet, but now that it has been brought to mind I'm going to try making some calls tomarrow to some mechanic buddies of mine. If I get an answer I'll post it as soon as I can.

If anyone can confirm this please help us out.
