01 cavalier dies every few miles

ok,

Drove my cavy like 100 miles today, no problems. Then my wife went to go visit someone out of town, and about 3 miles after she got on the highway, it shut down...

By the time i got there, it fired right back up. Then i drove it. another 5 miles down the road it dies. power stays on, but everything else is gone. it will not start back up unless you wait about 5-10 minutes. then it will fire right back up. I turned around to drive it home and it was dying every 1-3 miles. Is there any help out there?

thanks in advance

Nick

Sounds like a O2 sensor to me. Possibly spark plugs/plug wires. But it could also be a fuel related problem such as a fuel filter or fuel pump.
