Importing a car Greece to the US

Does anyone know what kind of import taxes I'd be responsible for If I purchased an auto from there? The auto was originally bought and registered here, in the US. This guy was relocated to Greece due to his job. He says it cost too much to make engine mods to meet EU emissions. He has title (US) and will pay for shipping cost. The auto is way cheap, so naturally I'm skeptical. Don't know about hidden fees and taxes. What do you guys think? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

if he imported it with the US title before signing it off to you then you wouldn't have to pay any duty, you'd just have to pay the $3000 or so it would cost to ship.
