does anybody know what egr stands for and where it is located on a 95 dodge neon

Exhaust Gas Recycleler. It should be on your intake manifold with a tube coming out of it running to your exhust system.

its on the drivers side of the engine block It looks kinda like a hose faucet and theres a metal tube that connects it to the intake manifold
