AWD civic wagon swap into newer civic.

Does anyone own a AWD civic wagon?
I'm wondering if i can swap the drivtraing from the wagon into a newer civic.
I have a 99 civic and was wondering if it is a bolt on.
Or do I need to do sum modifications?
Or will it fit into a 88-91 civic/crx?

I really dont think it would work that well. If you really wanted to do that then why dont you get the whole B20B/B20Z motor and just do it that way. All 4 wheel drive is for is handling and traction. It actually makes the car slower because all 4 wheels are spinning compared to 2.
