rattle

02 TB. with rattle noise from underneath when driving. Out of Warranty.
sounds like something is loose. taken to several dealers, and was told it was normal. noise has been present for over a year. really driving me crazy.

The same old Bullcocka story from the dealerships......"they all do that"
well, maybe they shouldn't! Don't think that they ever thought of that huh? But for enough $$$ they'll eventually find the problem eh?!

I think that there was other posts about rattling noises from the front or the underside. You might find something of interest there. They weren't posted to long ago.......

Check the prop rod that holds up the hood. I had a rattle at certain rpm's and tried everything I could to get rid of it. Turned out the prop rod was rattling up against the plastic shroud that covers the fan. I slid a gas hose over the prop rod and cable tied it tight. Rattle GONE ever since.
