Horn Problems

I have a 94 beretta and the horn does not work. I replaced the fuse and that did nothing. If i sit at the wheel and continuously press the horn on and off for 30 seconds or so, i can usually get it to produce a couple beeps before it stops working again. any suggestions ?

Your switch is probably bad. It is a flat switch and can fail especially if in hot areas. The thing that would concern me is that you should have air bag system and I don't like to deal with those things. Highly suggest you get a Haynes book if you are going to try to fix yourself. Might consider a cheapo horn switch at Advance Auto that would wire yourself somewhere near your column.

thanks, i do have an airbag and i really dont know alot about cars so im not going to mess around with it. bringing it in to a shop sounds like it would cost more than its worth. i guess i'll just drive around without a horn like i have for the last 2 years haha, not a big deal.
