Nor sure if you are still having this noise, or have ahd it fixed, but... If it is a CV joint and only hearing it in sharp turns you can drive like it is for a while. Should really get fixed though. If you can fined a resonable mechanic it should only cost 150 bucks or so. I have a mechanic who does my exhaust work, CV joints, or welding. I generally do pretty much other stuff if possible. he charges around 150 including labor for a Beratta or Corsica CV replacement. It depends on how far gone the joint is as to how long you could drive it. If it an occasional poping noise I would guess weeks to months. I have a 91 Corsica that is about due and it started poping some last fall, but not real noticable yet. If it very loud I would not drive until fixed. As a rule, always best to fix any repair ASAP to avoid being broke down, cause a wreck, etc. that will cost A LOT more to deal with.
