Re: 3.4 what is it?

Well a 3.4L from that comaro will bolt right in a s-10 that has a 2.8L engine in it.

Use all the accessories that come with it, and you'll have to get your flywheel (or flex plate) re-balanced and use it, or your starter won't engage.

With a 4x4 (I don't know about 2wd) you'll also have to use your oil pan, and oil pump pick-up

If your truck is carburated you'll have to switch intake manifolds... if it's fuel injected everything up top is the same.

there are several web pages on the subject... just look on Google.com

Re: 3.4 what is it?

4 barrel Intake manifolds from Edelbrock
Holley 4 barrel carbs
pistons
headers

This web page should really help you out
http://s-series.org/module-htmlpages...1-print-1.html

Anything that you have on your 2.8L will fit
