How much should I lower my REX on 16's?<_CrazyEight_> 03-23-2002, 04:50 PM I'm planning on getting some 16" Rota Subzero's for my rex and was just wondering how much should I lower it? Marc-OS 03-23-2002, 07:33 PM 1.5 to 2 inches, that way it's not totally slammed but still low. 90CRXZCSi 03-24-2002, 01:20 AM Ha, never think you will be too low. I have mine dropped 4" on stock 14's and a buddyclub front. i cant even get out of my driveway.:D crxlvr 03-24-2002, 11:44 AM id only do a 1.5 - 1.7" drop that way you will still clear hills and speed bumps, without having to go at a 45° angle to them. i cant even lower my car, i cant get out of my driveway as it is, i scrape everywhere at stock height. marked001 03-24-2002, 12:09 PM do they make 16" subzeros yet?? here's one of my old hatch's lowered over 3" on 16" circuit 8s..... http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/preview/ma/marked001/81420754103_0_ALB.jpg http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/preview/ma/marked001/71810754103_0_ALB.jpg <_CrazyEight_> 03-24-2002, 12:22 PM Ya, I've seen the 16" Subzero's at a couple of places online. But I don't want there to be a huge gap and I also don't want my tires to rub. Anybody have any pics of their rex lowered on 16's? marked001 03-24-2002, 12:28 PM what's wrong w/ my pics??? 90CRXZCSi 03-24-2002, 01:00 PM yea no doubt marked001...you have no wheel gap and there is 16's on there. Hey crazyeight...it's gonna be hard to find someone that has pics of the subzero's on their car in 16's and look the exact way you want it. <_CrazyEight_> 03-24-2002, 02:12 PM I don't care if there Subzero's or not, I just want some pics of a lowered CRX on 16's. Marc-OS 03-24-2002, 04:38 PM mellowboy 03-24-2002, 04:51 PM 2 inch drop should be fine.I have a friend that let me use his 16's and they are pretty much perfect. Crxlvr..u scrape ur bottom at stock height? I don't even scrape at all unless theres a big dip or if the driveway is too high. <_CrazyEight_> 03-24-2002, 05:09 PM I want my rex lower than that. I was thinking 3" in the front and 2.5" in the back. How does that sound? mellowboy 03-24-2002, 05:37 PM Originally posted by <_CrazyEight_> I want my rex lower than that. Just pm him and ask them from there. crxlvr 03-25-2002, 12:03 AM Originally posted by mellowboy Crxlvr..u scrape ur bottom at stock height? I guess its a gamble to get some wheels in these areas. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
