GSR sway bar fit?

Will the rear sway bar from a GSR just bolt-on to my 99 DX coupe? How about the GSR's front upper strut bar?

If it isn't as simple as a bolt on how hard would the mod be to install them on my car? Also, if I do manage to get the sway bar on, would I need to get a lower tie bar to prevent tearout?

I can find out the year of the GSR if that matters. Thanks in advance.

Devoris on another forum said the exact opposite! Very confusing.

The GSR is a 95 if it matters.

Anyone have this mod on their car? Any tips?

Just an FYI, a tie bar will NOT prevent subframe tearout, it won't do anything in that department because the tie bar binds together to totally different points then where the swaybar mounts would tear out from. What tear out is, is when an overly thick swaybar (19mm or greater) over extends the chassis abilities, and causes the bracket mount bolts to rip through the subframe, completely ripping the swaybar mount from the subframe. If you want protection from that, www.kingmotorsports.com sells a special reinforcement bracket to help prevent tearout. All a tie bar will do, is help enhance the tightness of the rear of your car as far as handling. Hope that helps you out. :) And also, if you get any OEM spec bar, weather it be a GSR bar, or the 6th gen Civic Si bar (which I put onto my '00 Civic DX coupe) tearout should not be a concern.
