Question Remote distance

I have a ZR2 and it has the factory remote for the power door locks.Sometimes I can be up to 50 feet away and sometimes I have to be right on top of it.I know there is interference, blah, blah, blah.I also have new batteries in it.What should I aim at?How far away does yours work?

Re: Remote distance

a little trick that some of my friends used to do was touch their alarm remote to their chin, and it appeared to act like an antena.

I don't need an alarm where I live so I don't have one now, but when I did have one every brand seemed to have a different range, and way back then clifford made seemed to have the furthest range
