i'd ask the insurance company, they can point you in the right direction, or check a body shop you trust, they might know somebody....

do you need an appraisal because of an accident or because you got a nice car?

do you need build info?

i need it to file insurance to be a classic. car is in perfect condition orginal condition and if i was in accident they would only pay 250.00- 500.00 because of the age if not classifided correct. car has never been in accident. if you look you will see the pic of my 79 trans am in my gallery. dont know how to post it in message body.

I hear you, nice car, except the rims are not original, so they might say something but I doubt it. I'd check with a local body shop, maybe a GM/Pontiac dealer, they might be able to steer you in the right direction.

i find it a little rediculous that you can only drive it 2500 miles a year if its listed as a "classic".. who doesnt wanna drive one? you should be alloted 25,000 a year.. lol cuz i would probably spend that much time in my car if i had a classic car.

they didnt tell me i had a limit on mileage when i called about the different insurance. i dont drive this car much nor my other one (2001) and my husband is never home he is a trucker so i have had my 2001 for 4 years and it doesnt have 50,000 on it yet and they both sit in the yard unless i have to drive to dr.s
i will call them and ask them about the mileage deal and i might sell it if that is the case . these ppl around here dont seem to know how to drive and i KNOW it is worth more than the 250-500 they will offer if totaled out.
