Question battery

Will a disconnected battery have a impact on a 04 trailblazer. I need to disconnect mine to clean the terminals.

What kind of impact are you talking about?

It will clear out your radio stations & if you have the memory seating & homelink, it may clear those out as well, but that should be it.

You will not lose your information that quickly. I disconnected for half hour to install acc... all data still there! But if you wait too long... yes you will lose just that. I don't know how long though it takes to reset settings
