HELP! After reconnecting the battery, Accent won't startmuddyyj95 02-27-2005, 04:55 PM I disconnected the battery to clear the check engine light, now the car won't start. The light is off, though. The car will run for about a second, then it dies. We just replaced the fuel filter four days ago or so. I guess that I'm going to try replacing the spark plugs (they're) all fouled up. I believe that's from whatever condition that the car had which was why the check engine light was on. I was going to go to Autozone and have them run the codes, but the car is undrivable now. Does anyone know what I should try next? I need to get rid of this car! muddyyj95 03-11-2005, 08:15 PM I replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor and now the car starts. Thanks for all the help guys! Say goodbye Hyundai- We're sellin ya! billyloon 06-27-2005, 12:20 PM Instead of disconnecting your battery to reset the check engine light, try pulling the ECU fuse under your hood for a minute or 2....Way easier. Fireplug 06-29-2005, 02:48 PM You are going to sell your car because of a bad mass airflow sensor??? go and look at all the other forums on this web page and see all and I mean all the problems people post about and then look at this page and see how few problems peole are having. Before I bought my new car thats what i did and i can tell you for a fact that Hyundai has the least problems of all. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
