Finally running!
I got my LT1 swapped 69 camaro running when I went home for a weekend...It still needs alot to get it drivable and legal but it's moving under it's own power now.

Re: Finally running!
The civic in my driveway is my girlfriends and it's the car that drove us to a 800 mile weekend so i could work on my car for 1 1/2 days. The car is alot louder than the camera lets on. I need to have the exhaust hooked back up (it doesn't clear the new tubular crossmember). The exhaust is a 2 1/2 in true dual flowmaster with dumps at the vert back beside the quarter panels...You cant see the exhaust on my car at all! I will post pics of the engine A.S.A.P.

Re: Finally running!
Thanks for the kind words! I love 69 camaro's too. When we were first started looking at cars for my first car we looked and looked for a 69 camaro and finally they found one (ON my 13th birthday), they actually left my party with like 5 13 year olds and went to look at the car...They bought the car for 2200 bucks and gave me the add for a present the same day and we picked it up the next week. After that all my money from mowing lawns all year and misc odd jobs went into this car and i drove it the last two years i was in highschool with a 355 with a few things done (heads, intake, headers, forged internals, HEI, etc..etc..). When i went to college the car got parked for 2 years and when i finally drove it again it didn't run very well. I then found the 94 camaro over valentines day last year and started pulling the 94 apart last summer and then started the swap over winter break. My girlfriend and i did the entire swap in a month and had it running. After a few small things and a 800 mile trip home from college we got it driving around and it needs very little...Overall, after the engine was out of the 94, the car went from no motor, not even a front end, to running in less than 1 1/2 months of work...I think it will have gone from no motor or front end to inspected, running and driving in less than 2 months if all goes right over spring break. We had to bust our asses over winter break including many many hours in my unheated garage in west texas (avg temp was probably mid 30s). It was worth it though to start it up this past time and hear it run!

wow that's an amazing story dude, i'm glad that u got this car, and jealous that you got the baby fired up so fast. my car has been down for 5 months now... unfortunately i don't have very much time to work on mine due to school and other crap... but like i said i'm very happy for you, that is going to be one hell of a car when u get everything taken car of and can start driving it regularly...
