im looking to buy a 96-00 impreza, and want to know what im suppose to look for. any tips? thanks.

4 wheels, an engine, some sort of steering device.
You probably want headlights and tail lights too....

Probably?!? It's the law, man. You gotta have taillights, with at least two working brake lights. Seriously, though, this topic has been discussed before; a search would pull up good results.

But if you look at how many cars are running around with only one working headlight, no working turn signals and more often than not no working tail lights, you'd be led to believe it's not the law
