Angry timing chain again

I Had A Major Noise Right Under The Timing Cover Of My 96 2.2 Sunfire. A Sort Of Intermittent Noise, But Getting Loud. I Put An Aftermarket Chain Set In, And A New Gm Tensioner. The Noise Was Hardly Noticable For About A Week, But Soon Returned. Now Its Really Loud, And I Cant Believe That Was The Problem. But It Has To Be. Maybe A Gm Timing Chain Set Would Be The Ticket? Can I Just Loosen The Oil Pan To Get The Timing Cover Off,even Though It Might Leak On Re- Assembly? If The New Chain Dosen't Eliminate The Noise, I'm Done With It.
