can I fit a 2.4 L on the 2.2L coupe box ?


does anybody knows were can I buy a brand new engine for the 1999 cavalier ? the 2.2L or 2.4L

yes, you can fit a 3800 S/C engine out of an Grand Prix GTP in there if you wanted.

that's the motor used in cavs after 02 but it wont be particularly easy swap. There should be places near you that will sell you a rebuilt engine for a LOT less and it is basically a new engine as all the wear is eliminated. You would need the trans and the PCm for that eco whci is gonna be almost as much as trading your car in for a brand new 05 EcoTec equipped Cav!
