Question 95 Cirrus Alarm Help

I just bought this car used. We lost the remote before we could get another. It controled the alarm and keyless entry. I would like to know how I would find out what kind of alarm I have so I can get a replacement. I can't drive it to a shop because the car won't stay started for longer than 5 seconds. I can't find a cut off switch. I pulled out the fuses for the horn and the lights. Everywhere I called wants to know what kind it is. I believe it is after market since there is an alarm company sign and the day it was installed. The company is no longer in business.
