My probe is kinda doing the same thing. My 93 PSE did something similar.. my oil pressure dropped to next to nothing while i was on the road.... Took it into the shop and asked them what could do considering my oil still read "full" on the dipstick... Well, looks like my oil filter was clogged up with some serious gunk. Haven't had a problem since. Then again, I got a cheap oil filter and changed the oil not to long ago, so it coulda just been a product defect.. Does happen though.
