Can 1995 Sidekick JXL handle LED lights??

Hi,

I am thinking about rehauling all my lights in my 1995 Sidekick JXL with LED lights (including turning signals, backp light, tail light, sidemarkers light, interior dome light/courtesy/maplights), but before I go out on a huge light bulb shopping spree, can anyone tell me the wiring on the Sidekick handle LED lights. I don't know if this matters, but when we installed LED lights in our 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan, the turning signal relay became really quick and the turning signals became really fast. I am wondering if the same things would happen on the Sidekick.

Thanks

your car should be able to handle it.
the reason your other cars signals became so fast
is that it takes less ampres to power a LED than it
does a bulb, the overcompensation in power is what
is most likely causing them to light change faster.

Since it takes less power to illuminate a LED than a
standard you should be in the clear. you might want
to test the current and replace your breakers
accordingly though. just FYI.

hope that helps!
