carbon fiber handles
I have looked high and low for cf buckets and handles for the truck. i dont want to do the chrome, it's just too flashy, and i have always loved the cf look. anyone have any ideas?
hell, while im on the subject, anyone know of a real (not a sticker) carbon fiber fuel door that will fit the 2003-2005 stepside?

Is there much of a demand for these? i.e. handles, buckets, or fuel doors. I have a business that does custom CF work. Myself and another engineer. If they are in high demand, ill start producing, and if its just a one off, i could make you some, but it would be more expensive, cause it would be custom and all.
Let me know.

i think that there would be a deman, it's never been done, and those hndles would be interchangable all the way back to 99 models of silverados, escalades, and suburbans. the mirrors would as well. they would be a great match to the carbon fiber taillights, headlights, fuel doors and hoods that are currently being produced and look much more sporty than the current options. maybe you could be the first to offer them and really take in the consumers looking for something like this. currently, there just aren't any options other than the chrome ones. im not sure what kind of demand there would be out there as i have no real way to gauge this, but i think that if the option was there, it would definately sell. any other people on this forum interested?
what kind of price would i be looking at for some cf handles or mirrors?

Re: carbon fiber handles
I think cf stuff may be a little too ricey for these trucks

Not if it's put on a black truck. If it was a carbon hood, then that would be pretty ricey.

Re: carbon fiber handles
Mechs02, What are you doing with the overhead? I keep looking for the Infinity overhead that had the hiding radar detector platform. It shut off when up and turned on when down. Great security and the cops never see it if you push the platform up. Also it would be nice to have the overhead lights near the seats not in front or way behind. Email me a pic or tell me what it is going to be as I have an interest.

Re: carbon fiber handles
I've seen CF gas doors on Ebay for your model truck. I used a billet one, and it took about 1/2 hour to install.
