I have a 99 Accord LX Sedan with 17" 205/50/17 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 tires. Compared to the stock michelins, they are stiffer, but when i compare them to my Winter tires (Toyo GO2+), they are about the same in ride comfort. I think that anything over th 17" will be harsher on the ride quality.
As for the ASX, i think they are meant to last longer and be more comfortable than the 712's.
