I am curious about how long it takes to get a title on a car from the DMV after you fill out the new owner paperwork get it smogged and pay them their $$. I live in texas and I want to say I've always gotten mine with in like 2 weeks and I sold a car to a guy in CA (well I'm holding it with deposite) and we are waiting for a title to his car to come in so that the dealership that is buying it from him will give him a check so he can give me my money. Anyone from CA tell me how long it has taken them so maybe I can figure up an average?
