what xenon lights should i get?

Im looking to install xenon lights and i came across this website: http://www.xenonfactory.com/products/hid/polarion.htm

I was suprised how much xenon lights cost! $500+ I was wondering if these lights would be good on my cavalier

Also i looked through ebay and came across to this one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tego ry=36476
This xenon light only cost $10 ?!

Can someone help me explain what the difference between these 2 xenon lights and also which xenon lights would you guys recommend. The area where im dorming now has no lights around and the stock cavalier lights really suck at night so i kinda need to upgrade my lights.

Re: what xenon lights should i get?

Your first link is to true HID' Xenon bulbs. Those are what you see in a lexus, mercedes, BMW, etc. and are the extremly blinding bulbs. Those are only allowed legally in NYS to be mounted in projection headlight to D.O.T compliant. Your last link is just for aftermarket halogen bulbs that are maybe 5-10X brighter. If you chose that route i would sugguest Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. But if you want HID's, try e-bay and get em for like 300 bucks for an 8000k kit.

Try autozone or pepboys or advance auto. I believe Autozone ran an ad this week for like 4 bucks off a set. I needed 2 sets when i bought mine highs and lows ( 9006,9005) it ran me 78 bucks. But worth every penny.

I got the Sylvania cold blue bulbs and they are very nice too, a little cheaper than the Silverstar bulbs. I bought them for $40.00 (the 9005 and 9006 pairs)

Question Lights! Lights! Lights!

I don't want to start a new thread so I'll ask here...

98 cavvy and I'm getting APC cornerlamps...

What are the best bulbs for the cornerlamps? APC has a whole bunch and I don't have a clue about any of them.

Can I put the new type of bulbs in my stock headlamps, or do I have to replace the headlamps for those 160 buck euro ones?

When I'm backing up, I don't even notice that lights are on to help me see behind the car...The lights aren't blown or anything, just not showing much light through those teeny white slits. Do I have to replace that whole back lenses or buy better bulbs, or will nothing really change how much light shows up in the back...

This is probably common sense, but I'm slowly learning up on all this car stuff

Here's all I've found so far...

The corner lamps

What's to come of these?
