im not sure if it was you or not since my memory is not the best. but a while ago I asked where was a good place to run wires thru the firewall, in which you said theres a rubber grommet near the bottom of the vehicle. I thought you mentioned that you installed electrical items on police vehicles. the reason I ask is that I need to install a headlight flasher onto my 02 and I have located the green wire for the DRL relay, but its in a tight space and was wondering if you knew of a good place to tap into it. as well as the pink wire that should be connecting the two high beam headlights together since ill have to tap into that as well. if I am mistaken and it as not you, im sorry for the inconveinence, but if you have any knowlegde on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: *Pat OD*

wow, I cant belive you managed to find that. while not to knock your work, its not the original post I was talking about since I did have a short lived conversation with whomever it was that I was talking to within the post, where he mentioned that he did work on wiring police vehicles. but that was still awesome that you found that post. but see, I know where that wire is I just now need to cut that wire and then connect two wires to that wire, one to each end of the cut green wire. so I need to room in the wire and still ahve it be safe enough so I dont have all these wires just hanging around the engine bay. so I want to find if that wire ends up being fairly close to the frame where I can tap into it, connect my wires and then screw them down to the frame and run them safely along the body to where I need them. but if it comes down to it, I guess ill just have to rip all the electrical tape the factory put around all those wires, find the one I need do my work with it then tape it all back up. sorry for the misunderstanding about who I taked to, but very good work on finding the post. thank you.

i could have saved i some time lol all u do is goto forum search and type in the word DRL or Daytime Running Lights, Green Wire, or Wire and it brings up a list of posts in the Impala board with those keywords. Try that instead makes it move a lot faster lol. U can even click on a persons screename and view all their posts.

yeah, I tried that with my own name since I thought I started the post, but none that I started were what I was looking for. so I gave up right then. and I know you did a search for that post, highlighted words gave it away. but I just couldnt think of a 100% shot at finding that one post so I didnt bother.
